About the event
This spring the annual Hessequa Harmonie brings top local artists and lovers of classical music and art together from 20 to 24 September in Heidelberg in the Southern Cape with a stellar line-up to celebrate its fifth anniversary. There is something for the whole family with classical music, light music, book discussions, art exhibitions, drama productions and more to stimulate all the senses.
What to expect
Hessequa Harmonie is presented in the Southern Cape in an area known as Hessequa: people of the trees. As a beautiful spot that is landmarked as the Gate to the Garden Route, the town is often looked over by tourists or writers, but with the festival - after 5 years, Heidelberg is becoming quite a destination. The area has beautiful and very affordable accommodation, with the sea and the forest on your doorstep.
