Erinvale Golf Course
Erinvale Golf Course, designed by Gary Player, is renowned locally and internationally. The club house offers golfers all necessary amenities, including a Pro Shop. Hotel guests can get preferential rates as the hotel holds memberships at the club. Erinvale hosted the 1996 World Cup of Golf, with 32 participating nations, and the 2005 SAA Open. Westlake Golf Club
Westlake in Cape Town is an 18-hole parkland-style course designed by its own members with consultation from professionals. The greens are all Poa Annua, which requires lots of attention, but delivers excellent putting surfaces. Fairways, semi-rough, tee boxes, and rough are mainly Kikuyu as per South African standards. The course is meticulously managed daily, with greens and bunkers receiving daily maintenance. Fairways and rough are regularly mowed, and Westlake takes pride in delivering a true test of golf.
Clovelly Golf Club
Clovelly is a hidden gem of a golf course in Cape Town. The suburban road leading up to it is lined with homes that obscure the view, but don't let that deter you. Once you arrive, you'll find one of the most delightful courses in the area. With two pronounced dog-legs, the course is relatively flat and plays off the wind. Rondebosch Golf Club
Rondebosch Golf Club, located in the shadow of Table Mountain, has been a popular destination for over 120 years. The course features a parkland layout with tree-lined fairways, small greens, and over 40 bunkers. Two rivers - the Black River and Vygekraal River - flow through the bottom half of the course, which was once a dairy farm. The course, designed by Bob Grimsdell, has undergone changes over the years but remains challenging yet user-friendly. It measures over 6000m from its tips and has hosted several international, national, and provincial tournaments. The grass on the fairways and tees is mainly kiukyu, while the greens have poa annua.
King David Mowbray Golf Club
King David Mowbray is a parkland golf course located near Table Mountain in Cape Town, South Africa.
