Situated in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley near Hermanus, Creation Wines is one of those places everyone is talking about – and for good reason! With an abundance of food and wine pairings carefully designed to maximise tasty cuisine, parents can enjoy delicious, entrée-sized dishes paired with four Creation wines, a three-course pairing menu and many more. They cater for the kids too, with a delicious Surprise Pairing especially designed so that children between the ages of five and 12 can experience the sensation of flavour profiling. The Kiddies’ Pairing includes juices, flavoured milks and a selection of healthy, tasty treats.

Chefs are super passionate about everything local and source most of their produce from neighbouring towns and villages. Cheesy grins at Klein River Cheese
Nothing makes people happier than CHEESE! Go for a gourmet picnic lunch on the veranda of the beautifully renovated Picnic Shed, perfect for the cooler months. This family-friendly farm has a kids’ menu, a substantial Klein River wine list and lots of freshly produced cheeses to choose from. The playground is huge with trampolines, a jungle gym, merry-go-round, tree houses, swings, a slide, sandpit, balance beams and seesaw for loads of YAYS and WOO-HOOS!

A good old time at Old Mac Daddy
We LOVE the Cape Overberg! Old Mac Daddy in Elgin Valley screams unique stay for the perfect weekend away. It boasts Airstream Trailers (each decked with its own theme, from Give Bees a Chance to Life Before Colour) and you’ll find a play room for the kids at “The Barn”.
