See the Full-Moon-Rise from back of Table Mountain with SOUTHPOLE Nordic Walking’s hike
If you are lucky, not only will you have a fine hike up the back of Table Mountain, but you could also witness the rare and beautiful Cape Town evening sight occurring only 13 times a year, when the sun sets behind you over the De Villiers Dam, and the beautiful and amazing full moon rises in the east whilst the vast Cape Flats lights up, twinkling and shimmering as night unfolds.
Enjoying your snacks and refreshment surrounded by pristine mountain nature as this unfolds, with Southpole Nordic Walking on the finest peninsula created for Nordic Walking in the world™, and ending with a magical downhill walk in the full-moon light.

WHAT TO HAVE / BRING
• Be fit and healthy enough for a Jeep Track uphill climb of ±550M at walking speed, for approx. 90 minutes, and then back down
• Hiking shoes: Recommended - Closed-toe, with a non-slippery tread, and preferably ankle height
• Clothes: Recommended - Multi-layer cotton clothing & windbreaker. Essential that you cater for both hot and cold weather
• Food with a little to share
• Drinks: Water - A minimum of 1 litre. Alcohol - optional, however for safety, a maximum of 1 can or 2 glasses per person
• Head torch
• Nordic Walking Poles - if you have. A few pairs to hire are available on a first-come-first-served basis - Message me early with your contact no. to reserve a pair
