What to expect: The historic "Seven Passes" route meanders between George and Knysna, passing through heavy, lushly indigenous forest. This road used to be the Garden Route’s main highway connecting George with Knysna. The Seven Passes takes you past seven gorges cut deep into the earth, by rivers flowing to the sea, offering some of the best MTB trails in the country.

What to expect: The Knysna Cycle Tour MTB race boasts a challenging, and beautiful route, making it a bucket list event for cyclists worldwide. You will ride through sections of the Knysna Forest and scenic farmland areas, all while feasting your eyes on the natural fauna and flora along the route. Age limits have been adjusted to ensure that fun riders have the maximum amount of FUN. The MTB events will include a 30 km Electric bike route, the first E-bike event in the country!

What to expect: The Stellenbosch MTB Challenge, formally known as Die Burger MTB Challenge, brings more than 5000 outdoor enthusiasts to this beautiful town every year. One of South Africa’s largest one-day mountain bike events, it is renowned for its challenging and picturesque Wineland routes and will once again be held in association with the Simonsberg Conservancy, with six scenic mountain bike routes to cater for all levels of riding.
What to expect: Taking place during the height of the flowering season of Namakwaland, riders will be treated to some stunning views and colourful flowers along the route. The organisers will once again offer an enjoyable and good quality route, while this year will also see a revamped 61 km MTB route to cater for the needs of more riders.

What to expect: In its second year, the Baleia Wines Mountain Bike event takes place on the 9 September 2017. The event will be ridden at the Baleia Wines winery just off the N2 outside Riversdale in the Western Cape.

The climbs are tough and the descents along jeep tracks and purpose built single tracks full of exhilaration and fun.
What to expect: The prestigious Darling ttu 2017 mountain bike race will take place on 30 September 2017. A solo or team relay event riding multi laps over a 24 hour period on a fast purpose build single track. The idea is quite simple, you race as many laps as you can in 24 hours. The solo winner or team is the one with the most laps. The race starts at 10am on Saturday 30 September and finishes at 10 am on Sunday.
