Bouldering and Highline
The world famous Rocklands climbing area in the Cederberg attacts bouldering enthusiasts annually. The climbing area was originally developed in 2005 by a team of Austrians, which included climbing icon Klem Loskot. It offers a huge variety of bouldering options.

Highlines ranging from 20-65m long will be rigged and ready to walk in 2018. There will be a training line for highlining techniques that will help first timers learn the basics. Other activities include climbing, swimming, hiking, uni-cycling, juggling, trick-lining and rodeo-lining.

Kiteboarding
Kite-boarding is the world’s fastest growing extreme sport. Allowing boarders to travel up to speeds of nearly 60 knots per hour, and to perform gravity-defying acrobatics, like looping, flipping, rolling and shredding it is an adrenalin junkies’ dream. Head for Cape Town and in particular the Cape West Coast, the unofficial kite-boarding capital of the world, where the South Westerly wind blows throughout the year, creating ideal year-round kite boarding conditions. The Western Cape boasts a wide selection of kiteboarding spots and a variety of conditions for kiteboarders. The strong wind conditions attract many of the world’s best kite surfers from October to April.

Langebaan Downwind Dash Kitesurfing Event: TBC
The Langebaan Downwind Dash is the longest running wind-powered race in South Africa. The race runs from Langebaan to Saldanha, the 17km course is one of the few events where windsurfers and kitesurfers go head-to- head. The 2006 event attracted over 100 participants, with about a 50/50 split between the windsurfers and the kitesurfers.

Golf
The natural beauty of Cape Town & the Western Cape makes it the perfect destination to create world class golf courses, many of which are designed by legends of the game. These golf courses offers coastal views and mountainous backdrops creating the perfect setting for a round of golf.

The festival will be taking place across four pristine golf courses, namely Clovelly, Durbanville, Milnerton and Royal Cape. A 50% deposit is required to secure all services booked. The balance is due by 30 June 2017.

Rock Climbing
Montagu’s rock walls offer a wide variety of high quality climbing opportunities, catering to every level, from beginners to experts. The area has over 450 climbing routes, with Montagu recognised as one of the best climbing destinations in South Africa.

Mountain Biking
Mountain Biking is an extreme sport, that at times requires great skill. The natural beauty of Cape Town and the Western Cape allows for top-class mountain biking routes, from mountainous terrain along the coast to inland trekking through rivers and valleys. Cape Town's natural environment is abundant with tarmac roads, single tracks, switch backs and jeep tracks to suit everyone from the leisure cyclist to the technical rider.

Entries for the 2017 Ride2Nowhere presented by WeChat are now open! This three-day mountain bike stage race takes place annually during the month of September in the beautiful and charming town of McGregor in the Western Cape. This year the event will take place on the weekend of 8 – 10 Sept. The event is well known for its unique and festive atmosphere and the amazing mountain bike routes!
