Festive Lights Switch-On Event’s Comedy Competition

The City of Cape Town is excited to present the brand-new Festive Lights Switch-On Comedy Competition, lighting up the holiday season with humour! We’re searching for Cape Town’s next “Humour Heroes” – could it be you?

Open to aspiring stand-up comedians of all ages in Cape Town and surrounding areas, this competition celebrates our ‘People of Hope’. To enter, simply upload a 1-minute comedy video to your favourite social media platform using #CTFestiveLights and #CTFestiveComedy. Judges will select a top 10 to compete in a live laugh-off at the V&A Waterfront Amphitheatre on Saturday, 23rd November 2024, from 10:00.
