  • Market Entry

Overseas exhibitions and outward selling mission allow the Western Cape exporter access to major buyers, governments and supply chains in overseas markets as well as advice on forming international joint ventures and partnerships.

Taking part in overseas exhibitions is an effective way for you to test markets, attract customers, appoint agents or distributors and make sales. Wesgro’s assists with grant support through DTI for eligible Small & Medium Sized Enterprises (SME's) to attend trade shows overseas. Participation is usually as part of a group of Western Cape businesses led by a Wesgro International Trade Manager.

Outward selling missions allows the Western Cape exporter to engage in one-on-one meetings with interested foreign buyers, distributors, sales agents and potential joint venture partners in a foreign market. Wesgro leads and guides an outward mission comprising ourselves, DTI and local companies at all stages of their decision-making cycle.
